Mystery in a Swiss Sanitorium turned Exclusive Resort

Greetings to my three readers! Thanks for sticking with me! This week I read/listened to The Sanitorium by Sarah Pearse, read by Elizabeth Knowelden. It was a hugely hyped Reese's Book Club selection for February and I kept hearing it was a wonderful thriller. It's like they knew my love language.

Needless to say, I jumped right in. I had zero idea what the book was about and was excited when the first chapter opened in Crans Montana, a ski resort about an hour and a half away from the tiny little village where I lived for nearly 5 years. I was surprised and intrigued by the familiar names, towns and accents (the narrator does a really great job with English, American, French & German accents as she reads the characters). The one thing that drove me nuts was the narrator pronouncing Crans Montana CranS Montaña. I digress.

The story chugs along, with enough character development and plot to get me interested from the start. If you're in the market for a good mystery-check this one out. For my full review: click the photo!
