Need Summer Read Recommendations? Look No Further

May was a solid reading month for me. I spent a fair amount of time in the car, which means I listened to more books than usual. I also made myself read during the long hours I was waiting for my kids and my husband. to finish school/work on a 14-hour time difference. All in all, I managed to get through 8 books this month. All were enjoyable, a few were fantastic. And no matter what type of fiction you enjoy, there is something on this list for you! Probably my favorite book so far this year: Lessons in Chemistry, as well as two fantastic Historical Fiction works and a great mystery/thriller. I'm currently enjoying the first real vacation that my family has taken in 2.5 years. We are celebrating my eldest daughter's high school graduation and enjoying time together and with family in France. I'm not listening nearly as much as I would be if I were at home or driving alone, but I suspect I will still get through a fair number of books in June. Flights and trains make for good reading time! I've got a terrific TBR for June as well so if you're not in love with any of these, stay tuned for a few days to peep my June TBR. In order of date read, my May titles follow. As always, for my full Goodreads review, click on the image. Happy Reading!
