Six Titles for Your Summer Vacation Reading

June was a relatively slow month for reading, but considering I crisscrossed across the globe, made my 9th international move, accompanied my kiddo on a farewell tour to Australia, and escorted our 7-month old Golden Retriever puppy on a plane, bus & automobile adventure from Manila to Colorado, it wasn't terrible. I made it through 6 books, and they were all good. TWO of them were 5-star reads! It is worth noting that the two books that earned 5-stars from me were both books that I NEVER would have chosen without high praise and/or recommendations from others. I eschew Romance unless it is attached to a thriller and I abhor Sci-Fi. Nevertheless, these two books were my favorites of the month and are running in competition at this point for my annual Top 10! Don't let the genre labels dissuade you! So, here you go!
